Welcome back to school. This is my awesome class, hello class, hi. Oh, they're awesome and they're going to be part of our podcast on how to be a successful student. We've talked about what it takes to be a successful student and they've written a lot of great responses, and I have one of my students here who's going to kick off our discussion on how to be a successful student. Will you tell the world who you are and what makes a successful student?

Speaker 2:

Good morning, Good morning, I'm Tommy, and it's good. How to be a successful student is you can try your hardest on tests or just being a good listener. You can also, if someone's talking, you can give them a heads up and tell them to listen to the teacher.

I love it. Tommy is amazing. Tommy's a great baseball player. Love it, tommy is amazing. Tommy is a great baseball player, tommy is a great listener and Tommy has a lot of important skills needed to be a successful student. Hello, class, we've been talking about how to be a successful student and we talked about other skills that are important in being doing well in school, and now I have two guests and for part two of our podcast, episode seven, how to be a successful student who are you? Introduce yourself to the world, and just introduce yourself and tell us who you are.

Hello, I'm Kat, and how to be a successful student is listening to the teacher, paying attention and always being kind and doing your work.

I love it and Kat does everything. She said. Kat is awesome. I have my second guest. I will let him introduce himself and he's going to talk about how to be a successful student and, if he wants to, how to be a successful athlete, because I know he enjoys playing sports as well. So who are you?

Hi, I'm Aiden Kay. Hi, I'm Aiden Kay. And how to be a successful student is to be kind to like, do extra work, to be focused, and how to be a perfect athlete is to to always listen to your coach and don't goof around Great.

Speaker 1:

So I have a question, aiden, let's change it up here Is being a successful student and being a successful athlete? Are they kind of the same thing in a way, or not really? What do you think? Being a successful athlete and being a successful student what do you think?

Speaker 3:

Well, it's almost the same thing, because you've got to listen a lot and you've got to focus, you've got to do work. It's almost the same thing.

My name is Sarah, and what it takes to be a successful student is to follow the rules and be an active listener and always work hard. To be a successful student, you got to always pay attention and not goof off with your friends, even though they might be in your class, and just pay attention when the teacher's talking. And just pay attention when the teacher's talking.

Speaker 1:

And to be a successful athlete you've got to pay attention, work hard and don't goof around with your friends. I love it.
